Frequently Asked Questions
Do you always paint with acrylics?
Yes, but I have worked with oils and other water-based paints in the past. I simply have an affinity for acrylic paints, and I prefer their faster drying time and lack of fumes.
Why do you prefer to paint on panels?
In addition to their sturdiness, my other reasons for using panels are aesthetic. I like the clean edges of deep cradled panels, which have a 3-D quality, and do not require the use of frames. On these types of panels, I feel my images can float, free from containment.
Can you send me a price list for your paintings that are available for sale?
Yes. Please contact me by email, and I will send you a PDF of my current pricelist.
Can you be commissioned for a painting?
Yes. Please contact me by email, and include your phone number in your message. I will be happy to call you to discuss what you have in mind.
How can I stay informed about your future exhibitions and projects?
Please contact me by email and include “mailing list” in the subject line. I send occasional emails to share new work and related news, and I have an artist's page on Facebook.
